Kerr Romberg, Certified Life Coach
Certified Level I Equine Guided Educator
“How wonderful that we are – all of us! – works in progress.”
A mission in the making
My mission for the foreseeable future is to invest my gifts and experience
to help people find fulfillment, joy and success in life.
For Lifestyle Entrepreneurs that means realizing the dreams that got
them into business in the first place. For Individuals in Transition,
it means practical, compassionate support as they discover their
uniqueness and learn to enjoy the path that life presents them.
A passion for potential.
For Ann Romberg, growing is a way of life. And to work with Ann is to grow
in ways that bring you closer to your heart’s desire.
For some, that means growing more focused. For others it means growing
stronger. Gaining confidence. Daring vulnerability. The point is, whatever your starting point, the joy of a coaching partnership with Ann is movement toward
the best you can be: at your chosen work, with the people you care about, and –
best of all – in your own skin.
To this collaboration, Ann brings a unique combination of gifts and grit. Credentials and professional experience prior to coaching tell part of the story. But it is the thoughtful insight and ability to see breakthrough options that impact clients most profoundly. And that’s true whether the client is a corporate executive honing leadership skills, an entrepreneur eager to grow the business, or a caregiver attempting to balance life demands with the needs of aging parents.
Practicing what she preaches.
If a horse is not the first partner you think of as a life coach, you’re not alone.
But for Ann Romberg, whose passion is both coaching and horses, the connection makes perfect sense. Bringing the two together for clients, however, is a perfect example of what coaching tools can do. Even for the coach!
Ann’s primary partner in Equine-assisted Coaching is Dude, the winsome Appaloosa shown on the Equine-assisted Coaching page. Other horses that have proven themselves in coaching circles are also engaged depending on the stable being used.
Taking joy. Giving thanks.
On a personal note: “What better place to end a professional profile than with a nod to the joy-makers in my life?
To daughters Sarah and Erin, wholehearted thanks for sharing a love of horses and keeping me on my toes.
To fellow coaches, thank you for ongoing collaboration that makes us better at what we do and benefits our clients exponentially!
And to my clients, thank you for taking me into your confidence, for introducing me to your dreams, and for the light in your eyes when it all comes together.

Professional experience
Ann's professional journey is, in her words, wonderfully eclectic. It includes experience as small business owner, teacher, and computer programmer, as well as over 20 years with Fortune 500 companies in IT management and executive positions. Her first-hand knowledge of leadership demands, management issues, and the power of strategic planning are an asset to business and personal clients alike.
"In practical terms, everything I have undertaken professionally has contributed to the effectiveness of my coaching today. That means clients benefit from all that was good and gratifying about my past lives, as well as the challenges and inevitable muck that goes with every job."
Credentials
Among Ann’s credentials are degrees in Math and Psychology with an
MS in Computer Science Certification from the Coaches Training Institute
as a Professional Co-Active Coach Certified Level I Equine Guided Educator through Rancho-Strozzi institute and Level I certification through EAGALA Active membership in the Equine Guided Education Association, International Coach Federation and MN Coaches Association. Ann is also a qualified Myers-Briggs Personality Type practitioner.
